Tillandsia

    Filter

Tillandsia — also known as air plants — are epiphytic bromeliad varieties that thrive off of bright, filtered sun and drink moisture from the fuzzy trichomes of their foliage, rather than their roots. They are perfect for decorating bright spaces in your home without the bulk of a potted plant.

      CARE

Light: Bright, indirect light, with no direct light on the leaves.

Water: Every one to two weeks, soak your air plant in room temperature for 5-10 minutes. After soaking gently shake excess water from your plant. Turn it upside down and place it on a towel in a bright space. Make sure that water does not get stuck in the center part of the plant after watering, as it can cause rot.
